Coronavirus in Romania: 2.550 new cases and 77 deaths
In the last 24 hours, 2.550 new cases of coronavirus have been reported and 77 Romanians died due to SARS-CoV-2 infection. In intensive care units, hospitalizations are increasing again.

As of Friday, 12 February, in Romania, 757.676 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID - 19) have been confirmed.
703.966 patients have been declared cured.
Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 2.550 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID - 19) have been reported, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.
Apart from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 684 people were reconfirmed as positive.
To date, 19.277 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 11.02.2021 and 12.02.2021, there have been reported 77 deaths (49 men and 28 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Arad, Argeş, Bacău, Botoşani, Brăila, Braşov, Caraş-Severin, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Galaţi, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomiţa, Iaşi, Maramureş, Neamţ, Prahova, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiş, Tulcea, Vaslui, Vâlcea and Bucharest.
