Cristian Tudor Popescu Steps Down As Manager Of ‘Gandul’ Daily

“Following several discussions with Sarbu (Adrian Sarbu, owner of media trust Media Pro – e.n.), majority shareholder of “Gandul,” it was clear that Sarbu is discontent with the paper’s editing policy, which, in his opinion, does not rise to the standards required by the investments made to relaunch the paper,” Cristian Tudor Popescu said.

He said he will remain senior editor with the paper: “I will only answer for my materials.”
