AH1N1 Flu In Romania: 82 New Infections, 3,194 Total Cases

According to the Health Ministry, most of the cases of infection were confirmed in capital city Bucharest (20) and the counties of Bacau (17), Hunedoara (12), Arad, Dambovita, Iasi and Suceava (5 each), Dolj and Ilfov (3 each), Mures (2), Cluj, Constanta, Covasna, Ialomita and Sibiu (one each).

Several schools suspended activities for seven days due to the spread of the AH1N1 infection.

The World Health Organization recommended that health authorities supervise patients suffering from unusual cases of flu and severe pneumonia and asked ill people to postpone traveling.
