Official Gazette Of Romania Might Launch Charge-Free Online Version

The Official Gazette of Romania might launch a charge-free version, available on the Internet, in a move to keep people updated on the sector of public contracts, according to a draft ordinance launched for public debate by the government’s Secretariat General.

The draft ordinance introduces a new article stipulating that Part VI of the Official Gazette will include announcements on the assignment of public procurement contracts, public works and services leases, public property leases, as well as other announcements based on legal regulations.

The charge-free product, available in electronic form (PDF format), will be paid from the publication fee, while the price of printed subscription to the current Official Gazette will see a decrease.

The costs needed to publish normative acts in the Official Gazette, Parts I–VII, will be paid by issuers based on the fees annually approved by the Standing Office of the Chamber of Deputies, while for Section I, in Hungarian, the publication costs will be paid by the Chamber of Deputies.
