Profi Credit IFN SA, a member of the Czech financial group Profireal Group, on Monday set the official date to launch its operations on the Romanian market for February 5.

Profi Credit, which offers private loans, trade loans, business loans, factoring services etc., successfully obtained registration license from the Romanian central bank in October last year.

The company provided the first loan to a Romanian client in the course of December 2007.

Profireal Group operates in five countries - the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania.

In 2006, Profireal provided loans and credits at a total volume of EUR110 million to its clients.
