Romanian Const Court Delays Ruling On Wage Delay After Govt Annuls Decree

The government notified the Court Tuesday that it annulled Monday the emergency decree postponing until April next year the enforcement of the law raising teachers’ wages by 50%, and the act was sent to be published in the Official Gazette.

 

The new government decree, which gradually increases teachers’ wages by up to 28%, was published in the Official Gazette Tuesday and the government said the Constitutional Court no longer has a decree to rule on.
