Depeche Mode Bucharest Gig Might Be Rescheduled For July Or September

Organizers Emagic said they are in negotiations with the band’s management to reschedule the Bucharest show.

"We’ve been in talks with the band’s management ever since the concert was officially cancelled. We are considering July or September this year and we’re in advanced negotiations, but the final decision depends on several factors such as the band’s schedule, availability of a location for the show, etc," said Laura Coroianu, executive manager of Emagic.

"We hope to receive good news about Dave Gahan’s state of health by the end of this week and more details regarding a new show date,” she added.

Organizers recommended that fans should hold on to their tickets, which will be valid for the rescheduled show.

Depeche Mode lead singer Dave Gahan fell ill in his dressing room on May 12, before the band was due on stage in Athens, Greece. The band was forced to put off six tour dates, including the Bucharest gig.
