Digi Communications Mulls Listing On Bucharest Stock Market
Digi Communications, provider of telecommunications services in Romania and Hungary, on Tuesday said it plans to launch an initial public offering (IPO) of Class B ordinary shares for the public, in Romania, and towards some institutional and professional investors.

Digi plans to request the admission to trading the company’s shares on the Spot Regulated Market operated by the Bucharest Stock Exchange, in May 2017.
According to the announcement, the IPO will include an offer of Class B ordinary shares from existing shareholders. The company will not obtain any of the amounts generated by the sale of shares offered. Each Class B share confers a voting right.
"The company plans to list at least 25% of the company’s subscribed share capital, assuming there will be exerted the over-allotment option of 10% of shares, soon after admission," according to the announcement.
Digi provides five basic services: cable television, internet and fixed data, mobile telecommunications services, fixed telephony and direct to home („DTH“) satellite television.
In the year ended on December 31, 2016, Digi operations in Romania generated EUR612.7 million or 72.7% of total revenue.
In 2016, Digi generated revenue of EUR842.8 million and the adjusted EBITDA and the EBITDA margin reached EUR263.3 million and 31.2%, respectively.
