"I would like for the ministry to get involved in the exploitation of the thermal streams in northern Bucharest. Now we will find a legal format to construct a balneal complex in the thermal stream area," Udrea said in the International Tourism Trade Fair in Madrid, Spain.

She added the feasibility study for the construction of the complex will be performed within one month, when the ministry’s budget is approved.

"The complex will have a hotel, a beauty salon and spa treatment, and perhaps several swimming pools. The ministry wants to get involved in such a project, because we want to prove that Bucharest’s balneal potential can be valued," Udrea said.
