Asked if such a government could continue activity even after the presidential elections set for November 22, Antonescu said yes.
„It could go on after the presidential elections if we are all convinced that this government, to put it simply, gets the job done, a job that Romanians expect and that Romanians need. Obviously, after the presidential elections, there will be political talks held, but, I repeat, I do not rule out maintaining this type of government, reshuffling it or replacing it ,” Antonescu said.
Antonesc announced Tuesday, in consultations at the presidential palace, that the liberals propose Klaus Johannis as independent prime minister, after the Boc Government lost Parliament confidence.
