Draft Budget For 2010 To Be Presented To Future Govt For Completion – Romanian Fin Min

"After it is instated, the future Government will be presented with the draft budget to be completed according to the public policies of its program", Pogea said.

Pogea added that next year's budget takes into account a deficit of 5.9% of the gross domestic product and an estimated 0.5% economic growth.

"The draft budget is almost completed and a political decision has to be made regarding the money to be allotted to domains that have priority, such as infrastructure, investments, education, health," Government spokeswoman Ioana Muntean said.

Mid-November, the Parliament amended the law on the organization of the Government, empowering the current caretaker Government to send to the Parliament the 2010 state budget, social security budget and fiscal liability laws.

The draft law was promulgated by President Traina Basescu and published in the Official Journal.
