"To submit income statements online, individual taxpayers must own a qualified digital certificate issued by certification providers, which are accredited under Law no. 455/2001 regarding electronic signature, and must register as users of the Online income statement submission service on the website of the National Fiscal Administration Agency, by submitting the confirmation document of the digital certificate,” the agency said in a statement Friday.
The confirmation document needs to be signed digitally by the applicant and the confirmed by the electronic signature of the certifying authority.
Taxpayers may also submit income statements via certified mail or in person at the office of the fiscal agency department they are registered with. Income statements for 2008 must be submitted until May 15.
