EADS Mulls Producing Airbus Spare Parts In Romania- Interim Econ Min
Romania will grant a state guarantee of EUR5-7 million to European aerospace giant EADS, which plans to produce Airbus spare parts in Ghimbav industrial park, acting Economy Minister Adriean Videanu said Tuesday.

"The initial investment is of over EUR90 million. I hope we will grant the state guarantee next week," Videanu told a news conference.
The production of Airbus spare parts in the in the industrial park in Ghimbav, in Romania's central county of Brasov, is scheduled to begin in May-June 2010, he added, saying that such an investment might be a catalyst for other companies producing such parts.
