The ruling may be appealed at the High Court of Justice within five days, which the far-right Greater Romania Party, or PRM, said it will.

The Court of Appeals rejected Thursday the far-rightists’ move to have the government decision suspended.

Interior Ministry state secretary Victor Paul Dobre told Prime Minister Calin Tariceanu in the Cabinet meeting Wednesday that an emergency ordinance amending the election law and a draft government decision setting uninominal constituencies have been prepared in the event the court rules in favor of PRM, people close to the matter told MEDIAFAX.
