„I believe that, after the end of the political crisis, the global economy will also impact the resuming of Romania’s economic growth,” Croitoru said.
According to Croitoru, the financial incentives injected by central banks in developed countries trigger investors’ confidence, which will resume their economic growth, and in turn, they will impact Romania’s economic growth.
Croitoru is an adviser to central bank governor Mugur Isarescu.
President Traian Basescu designated Croitoru for prime minister mid-October, after the country’s governement was ousted by the Parliament in a no-confidence vote. Last week, lawmakers rejected Croitoru’s Cabinet and Romania still has no full-powers government in place.
