Serbia Eyes Romanian Harbor Capacities

Serb president Boris Tadic, stated Thursday, after meeting his Romanian counterpart, that his country is interested in renting, on long term basis, some of the capacities in Constanta Harbor.

Tadic said that bilateral relations between Romania and Serbia are very good and, also, ascending from an economic point of view. He mentioned that he talked to Romanian president Traian Basescu about collaboration on the Danube and collaboration regarding the pan-European corridor, in which the two countries have a major interest.

He added that he talked with Basescu on the oil pipeline Constanta-Pancevo-Trieste, mentioning that the Serbian party is directly interested in the infrastructure of this project.
