EXCLUSIVE: Romanian Education Ministry’s Total Expenses To Increase By 2013
The Romanian Education Ministry’s total expenses are seen to increase in the upcoming three years and might reach 8,480 million (EUR1=RON4.2394) in 2013, from RON5,536 million in 2010, according to estimates in the country’s three-year fiscal strategy approved by the Government Wednesday.

On the other hand, staff expenditure might decrease by 2013.
The strategy estimates the Education Ministry's total expenses will hit RON5,536 million (1.08% of GDP)this year, RON5,598 million in 2011, RON6,441 million in 2012 and RON8,480 million in 2013.
Estimates show the ministry's staff expenses will drop to RON273 million in 2011 and RON281 million in 2012, from RON335 million in 2010. In 2013, staff expenses will register a slight increase to RON291 million.
Social assistance expenditure will hit RON268 million in 2010 and will stay at RON298 in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Investment expenses will reach RON1,043 million in 2010 (0.20% of GDP), RON913 million in 2011, RON1,104 million in 2012 and RON2,008 million in 2013.
