Romania To Face Difficulties In Funding Energy Projects – Official
„Romania has big financial problems and can’t support all the projects. It will be impossible to accomplish them with state support. (…) It will be hard to find solutions,” Serban said at a debate on nuclear energy issues.
Serban said the country has several big investment projects, such as the construction of two reactors at the country’s sole nuclear power plant at Cernavoda, which require EUR4 billion funds, the projects in the hydro-power sector, totaling EUR2.5 billion, and EUR3 billion upgrades in the coal industry.
