Famous Singers Join Race For Best Romanian Act At 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards

Singers Andra, Smiley, Crazy Loop and Morandi are among the nominees for Best Romanian Act at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards to be held on Nov 6 in Liverpool, United Kingdom, a press release of MTV Romania read.

Other Best Romanian Act nominees include Tom Boxer, Fly Project and Anca Parghel.

This year, the Best Romanian Act winner will join a new race for Europe's Favorite and will have the chance to compete against other winners for the votes of MTV viewers. Moreover, the winners of this competition will perform live on stage at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.

Fans of Romanian nominees are expected to access www.ema.mtv.ro until October 19 and vote for their favorite artists.

Singer Andreea Banica won the Best Romanian Act award at the 2007 MTV Europe Music Awards in Munich, Germany.
