The children of people who died in the accident will receive special scholarships worth RON150/month for school children, RON200/month for high school kids and RON250 for students.
For children under the age of 14, the sums will be collected by the legal guardian, according to a decision enacted Wednesday by the Government.
The money will be provided by the Ministry of Education and calculated annually in ratio with inflation. The sums will be distributed monthly to the school inspectorates by the ministry involved, and the school will give the money to the beneficiaries.
The Government said these sums do not exclude the granting, within the boundaries of the law, of other types of scholarships or forms of support.
