Final Exams In Two Romanian Police Schools Suspended On Lack Of Funds – Sources
According to the mentioned sources, 850 future agents, currently studying at the “Vasile Lascar” school in Campina and “Septimiu Muresan” school in Cluj-Napoca, will carry out internships in police stations until the fall.
Sources said final exams may also be postponed in the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Police Academy and the schools of the Border Police, Gendarmes and Emergency Situations Inspectorate. “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Academy officials said they are currently in talks with the Interior Ministry to decide whether the final exams will be suspended.
Under normal circumstances, police academy students should take their final exams in July. After the graduation ceremony they would have two weeks off and then be incorporated into the Police department.
The cited sources said police school graduates could be employed after the second budget revision planned for this year.
