“We had bilateral discussions, but either in the written procedure or in the CSAT it was not discussed. We must have at least one of the two procedures completed” said the minister.
Tuesday’s CSAT meeting, during which the draft budget was supposed to receive a review, was suspended by President Klaus Iohannis and will be resumed on December 19.
“Until the end of the year, there are still work days in the both the Government and the Parliament. We will see today exactly what the timeframe will be, together with the prime minister and the chairmen of the two coalition parties,” Teodorovici added.
The minister also said that the budget was constructed on an under 3% deficit target, according to Romania’s EU commitment.
