First Confirmed Case Of New Flu Virus In A School In Bucharest, Romania

Two other cases of the AH1N1 virus were confirmed at the „Mihai Viteazul” National College in Slobozia, Ialomita county, in the second half of September.

The Romanian Health Ministry decided on September 10 that Public Health Departments must suspend activity for seven days in schools with at least three confirmed cases of the new flu virus in different classes. In the case of a single confirmed ill pupil, authorities must suspend the class and separate the pupils for seven days.
