First Romanian Reaching Mount Everest Wants To Conquer Highest Mexican Peak
Teodor Tulpan, the first Romanian citizen who reached the top of Mount Everest in 2003, will leave on a new expedition, whose purpose is to climb to the highest Mexican mountaintop, the Orizaba Peak.

Tulpan said this expedition will last a month and a half, and its purpose is to reach the highest peak in Mexico, the Orizaba peak, on a 5,736-meter high volcano which has not been active for 400 years.
He will undertake this expedition alone, on October 29.
Tulpan is a voluntary member of the Mountain Rescuers Association in Sibiu, central Romania, and he works as ski instructor and tour guide.
