Five Injured in Mures County Car Crash

Five people were injured in Mures county on Thursday afternoon, following a crash between a car and an utility vehicle. The crash happened because the car’s driver switched onto the oncoming lane, according to local police.

The crash took place on the DJ151B road, in the village of Cerghizel. Both vehicles were registered in Mures county.

“Following the crash there were five victims: the drivers of the two vehicles as well as three of their passengers, which were hospitalized and are currently receiving medical attention,” Mures Police spokeswoman Emanuela Rugina told MEDIAFAX.

Local police is currently investigating the full circumstances of the accident.
