Flood Warning Extended In Romania Until Monday At Noon
Romanian hydrologists extended the code orange and code yellow warnings, until Monday at noon, for the counties in which there is the risk of floods, namely Hunedoara, Arad, Mures and Timis.

According to the warning issued by the National Institute for Hydrology and Water Management, the code orange called Saturday will be extended until Monday, 14.00 local time, on the river Crisul Alb, between Vata de Jos and Gurahont, and the river Tarnava Mica, between Sarateni and Tarnaveni. At the same time, the code orange warning was also extended for the river Barzava, between Gataia and Partos.
The counties that might be affected by the floods caused by rain and water rising are Hunedoara, Arad, Mures and Timis, according to the warning issued by hydrologists.
In addition, the code yellow warning is extended until Monday, 12.00 local time, for the rivers Somes, Crisul Alb, Crisul Negru, Timis, Barzava, Moravita, Caras, Nera and Cerna. Hydrologists also extended the code yellow warning for the river Somes, between Rodna and Dej, the river Bega, Mures (between Glodeni and Alba-Iulia) and on Tarnava Mica.
The counties crossed by these rivers and in which there might be floods are Bihor,Timis, Caras-Severin, Mures, Arad, Hunedoara, Alba, Bistrita-Nasaud and Cluj.
The warning was sent to the Ministry of Environment and Durable Development, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the National Administration "Romanian Waters," the Ministry of Interior and Administrative Reform, Hidroelectrica and the Water Directions Somes, Crisuri, Mures and Banat.
