Flu Epidemic: Classes Suspended Across Fourteen Bucharest Schools And Kindergartens
Fourteen schools and kindergartens in Bucharest will be closed on Thursday and Friday due to the ongoing flu epidemic, following recommendations from the local Public Health Directorate (DSP), Bucharest School Inspectorate representative Marina Manea announced in a press conference on Wednesday.

Eight kindergartens, five schools and one social complex will suspend all their classes due to the high risk of the virus spreading, as the Health Ministry declared a nationwide epidemic on Wednesday.
The number of deaths caused by the diseased reached 57 on Wednesday, after three more deaths were reported during the day.
Romania’s Health Ministry announced that classes will not be suspended by default during the epidemic, but that any school/class observing a rate of at least 20% absenteeism due to the disease can temporarily suspend classes.
