The two people reported missing Tuesday afternoon following a blast at explosives maker Nitramonia Fagaras, central Romania, are feared dead, but investigators declined to make an official statement in this respect.

According to the general emergency inspectorate, the blast occurred at a decommissioned installation in the plant.
Three people were in the are at the time of the blast. One was injured and taken to hopspital and the other two were reported missing. The blast was not followed by a fire.
