The head of "Cartel Alfa" union confederation, Bogdan Hossu, said the unionists’ proposal is a good idea, stressing the draft law must be debated and analyzed nearly two months in order to track any deficiencies of the law.

Hossu added it is also necessary to simulate the application of the law, stressing the country’s Finance Ministry will do that to see the impact of this measure.

In turn, Dumitru Costin, head of the National Union Bloc (BNS), said the government will adopt the draft law until July 15, which will be up for public debate on the Executive’s website and subsequently assumed by the government.

Sarbu met Tuesday with representatives of union confederations for talks on the stage of works on the unitary wage law.

According to secretary of state Valentin Mocanu, Sarbu said the government might take responsibility for the unitary and single pay law in autumn.
