Ford's Romanian Unit Automobile Craiova Names New Head
The board of Romania’s auto assembly plant Automobile Craiova (AUCS.RO), owned by U.S. carmaker Ford, named Valeriu Girlea as the company's general manager last week, after Lucian Lutaru resigned, the company announced Thursday.

Automobile Craiova has a share capital of 39.78 million lei (EUR=RON4.2923), split up into 18.94 million shares, with a face value of RON2.1 each.
The company posted a turnover of RON4.62 million in the January-June period, down 2.9% compared with RON4.76 million in the same period a year ago.
Its first half revenues totaled RON4.89 million, down 1.9% on the year, while its expenses fell 13.7%, from RON3.64 million to RON3.14 million.
In their latest trade on Rasdaq market Wednesday, the company's shares closed at RON16.5, thus, its market value stood at RON312.5 million.
