The minister added that foreign investments triggered a management evolution, bringing new technologies and creating new jobs.
"In the energy sector, foreign investments are seen as a solution to comply with environment standards and to cut energy intensity. Foreign investments are expected to cut energy intensity by up to 30% until 2013," Vosganian said.
The minister said foreign investments connected Romania to international markets, adding that their main negative impact would be the repatriation of profit.
