Romania’s Rompetrol Cuts Gas, Diesel Oil Pump Prices By RON0.02, RON0.03 Per Liter

Romania’s second-largest oil company Rompetrol Group NV, owned by Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGaz, will cut Monday its gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by 0.02 lei (EUR1= RON3.7353), and RON0.03 per liter, respectively, the company said in a statement.

Rompetrol cut its Premium Euro 4 and Efix 96 gasoline prices to RON3.8 per liter, and its unleaded Euro Super 98 to RON4.48.

The company cut Monday its Efix Diesel (Euro 4) price to RON4.12 per liter and the Super Euro 5 price to RON4.41 per liter.

The prices of fuel sold in the Rompetrol Downstream gas stations may vary by +/- 5%, compared with the reference prices, Rompetrol announced.

The latest change in Rompetrol’s pump price took place on October 16, when the company cut its gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by RON0.03 per liter.
