Four Romanian Troops Injured In Afghanistan
Four Romanian troops from the 26th infantry Battalion Neagoe Basarab have been injured in Afghanistan Sunday morning, as their patrol vehicle ran over an improvised explosive device, Romania’s Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry said the four are in stable condition.
Lieutenant George Olteanu, sergeant first class Marius Apostol, corporal Daniel Riza and corporal Nicolae Barbu were patrolling the A1 highway in Zabul province Sunday morning, when their armored vehicle was overturned by the explosion of an improvised device.
Barbu was only superficially injured and has resumed activity at the Lagman military base, while the other tree troops have been taken to the military hospital in Kandahar for treatment, the Defense Ministry said.
