The four Romanians approached the two men on the night of Saturday, when the Catholics celebrate Easter and at knifepoint took them to a shack in the outskirts of Rome, the area called Ponte Galeria.

Inside the shack, the two Indians were allegedly beaten with metal objects, electrocuted and subjected to sexual aggressions. Sunday morning they were released and threatened to be killed if any of them notified the authorities.

Riflemen in the Ostia area managed to arrest the four, who will be charged with deprivation of freedom, inflicting grievous bodily harm, rape and energy theft.
