„The state of emergency will not be prolonged, I will not issue a new decree. May 14 is the last day we will still have a state of emergency. From May 15, we will enter the alert state”, said, on Monday, in a press statement, president Klaus Iohannis.

The head of state also said that the epidemic did not pass, adding that 300 people were tested positive for COVID-19.

„After May 15, we can, in principle, move inside the locality. But it’s good not to exaggerate. There will be no need to declare where we are going”, Iohannis explained.

The head of state added that the relaxation will be done step by step, and the measures will be taken once every two weeks.
