More Than Half Of Romanians Won’t Get Bonuses For Easter – Poll

Only 34% of Romanian employees might get bonuses for Easter this year, compared with 66% in 2009, and in some cases, bonuses will consist of food or gift vouchers, according to a poll conducted by www.jobsinro.ro between March 24 and March 30.

According to the poll, 60% of respondents said they won’t get bonuses for Easter this year, 6% said they don’t know whether or not they would get any bonuses and only 34% said they would get bonuses for Easter.

Of total respondents who said they would get bonuses for Easter, 58% said they didn’t know what kind of bonuses they would receive, 26% said they would get money, 9% said they would get gift vouchers and 7% said they would get food vouchers.

The survey also indicates that 23% of polled people who said they would get bonuses for Easter, also said they didn’t know the exact amount they would receive, 15% of respondents, compared with 25% in 2009, said they would get bonuses ranging from 100 lei (EUR1=RON4.0729) to RON200, 9% said they would receive bonuses below RON100 and only 7% said bonuses will top RON200.

The poll was conducted countryside and the questionnaire was filled in by 1,021 visitors of www.jobsinro.ro.
