Romania’s Petrom Hikes Pump Prices By RON0.09 Per Liter

Petrom hiked Eco premium 95 prices to RON3.69 per liter, while unleaded Premium 95 prices now costs RON3.66 per liter.

Also, the price of one liter of unleaded Top Premium 99 gasoline rose to RON3.99. One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 cost RON3.76 and RON4.39, respectively.

One liter of Top Euro Diesel 4 costs RON3.85, while the price of one liter of Euro Diesel 4 was hiked to RON3.77, the company said. Petrom’s OMV Sprint Diesel now costs RON3.91 per liter.

Petrom is the largest corporation in Romania, owning nearly 500 gas stations countrywide, and the largest gas and oil producer in Southeastern Europe. In December 2004, Petrom was privatized and became a part of Austria’s OMV AG, which owns 51% of its shares.
