GCS: 325 new cases of COVID-19 in Romania. There are 827 deaths and 5.454 healed

The Strategic Communication Group has announced that, in the last 24 hours, 325 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Romania. The total number of infected people reaches 13.837, of which over 3.000 are in Suceava. There have been 827 deaths and 5.454 cured in the country.

According to GCS, until Tuesday in Romania, 13.837 cases of people infected with COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 5.454 were declared cured and discharged.

Most cases, 3.010, are registered in Suceava county.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, on Monday, another 325 new cases of illness have been registered.

The number of deceased persons reached 827, and of those in intensive care 244.

On the Romanian territory, there are 12.727 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 19.748 people are in solitary confinement at home and are under medical supervision.

To date, 205.842 tests have been processed at national level.

Regarding the situation in diaspora, 2.384 Romanian citizens were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19, and 96 died.
