Romanian Social Democrat Candidate Geoana Asks Basescu To Keep Debate Civilized

Geoana said he had proven time and again that he is able to bring Romanians together and keep a positive tone and a constructive approach, when dealing with rival candidates included.

Geoana added he has in mind „a single Romania, not an electoral slogan, but a Romania which must create the chance of a new beginning.”

The social democrat candidate said he believes the country’s economy should no longer depend to real estate speculations or the unpredictability of foreign markets.

Geoana said he has developed a project together with his liberal partners to bring the country out of the economic crisis and turn Romania into a European force.
