Romanian Social Democrats Endorse Liberals’ Independent PM Nominee
Geoana said that Tuesday evening there was a meeting with the leaders of the social democrats, liberals and Hungarian minority party UDMR and the leader of the minorities group with the purpose of outlining a transparent majority that would support a new government, which would guarantee free and fair elections, and establish trust in good government.
The social democrat head added Wednesday, at 11 a.m., there will be a final round of talks between all parties.
He added Wednesday, in Senate, there will also be a clarification talk with current Sibiu city mayor and independent prime minister nominee Klaus Johannis.
