Romanian President Traian Basescu On Official Visit To Estonia

Romanian President Traian Basescu and his wife Maria Basescu arrived Tuesday in Tallinn, Estonia, for an official visit at the invitation of Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves.

Basescu will hold private talks with his Estonian counterpart at the Kadriord Palace, followed by official talks in the presence of the two states’ delegations.

Basescu will also meet with Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and Parliament Speaker Ene Eegma.

The Romanian head of state will lay wreaths at the War of Independence Memorial Tuesday afternooon.

On Wednesday morning, Basescu will visit the center for information and communications technology (IT Demo Center) in Tallinn.
