Romania’s Feb Net Salary Dn 5.5% M-M To RON1,134

The average net salary in Romania rose 20.5% on year in February.

The net salary in February fell compared with January when employees were given bonuses, including holiday bonuses, and when a higher output was reported.

Brokers, except for insurances and pension departments, saw the biggest average net salaries of RON2.901, while employees in the wood processing industry, except for furniture making, were at the opposite pole with RON661.

February net average salary in agriculture was down 5.1% on the month to RON824.

Net salaries in the industrial field averaged RON1.037 in February, up 0.7% from January salary.
