Romanian Senate To Hold Extraordinary Session On August 25-28

The announcement was made by Senate chairman Nicolae Vacaroiu, who added the decision was unanimous in the Standing Office.

Vacaroiu added the votes on the two files targeting Seres and the file targeting Pacuraru will be secret. The senators will first vote on the Seres case, and then on the Pacuraru case. The votes will be cast in the same plenary session.

The Romanian Senate needs to decide whether to approve the start of prosecution against Seres and Pacuraru.
