“We agreed to take action together for the social integration of Rroma people,” Berlusconi told a press conference at the end of the summit.
On Thursday, Tariceanu and Berlusconi led the Romanian – Italian summit in Rome, which included discussions on the problems Romanian communities have in Italy.
The Romanian delegation included the ministers of foreign affairs, interior, finance, justice, labor, culture, education and tourism, as well as former finance minister Sebastian Vladescu, as Tariceanu’s “special guest.”
The Italian delegation included Prime Minister Berlusconi, foreign affairs minister Franco Frattini, justice minister Angelino Alfano, interior minister Roberto Maroni, labor and social policies minister Maurizio Sacconi, culture minister Sandro Bondi and economic development minister Claudio Scajola.
