Gogol Bordello To Return To Bucharest

Gogol Bordello, a band known for its gypsy punk style, is to return to Bucharest for a concert on June 17, at Arenele Romane, organizers One Event stated for MEDIAFAX.

Tickets for the Gogol Bordello concert will go on sale next week and will be priced at RON75 (EUR1 = RON4.2862), until April 12, RON100, between April 13 and June 16, and RON125 on June 17. The Bucharest show is part of the second leg of their international tour promoting the album “Super Taranta!”

“With «Super Taranta!» we will conquer the world,” said the band’s charismatic frontman, Eugene Hütz, in 2008.

Madonna is the band’s most famous fan. She made her director’s debut with the film “Filth and Wisdom”, in which Hütz plays a starring role.

Gogol Bordello have played in Romania in 2007, at Arenele Romane, and at the Peninsula Festival in Targu Mures.
