To purchase tickets through this system, users must register on the company website. All necessary details on the trip will be sent via e-mail or accessed through the user profile.
Tickets bought online feature the user’s name and travelers may step on the train with the ticked printed (recommended by the CFR Calatori) or with personal identification plus the ticket’s ID.
Tickets can be purchased from anywhere and at any time but at least three days in advance. Payment is via bank card, using an e-commerce application provided by Raiffeisen Bank.
Tourism agencies will be able to sell train tickets online to their own customers, if they are authorized distributors. Authorization is granted through a service contract with CFR Calatori.
Trips with train tickets bought online may not be postponed, taken early or canceled, and the maximum number of seats bought in a single transaction varies depending on the type of car.
At the moment, travelers can only reserve seats on internal routes, with no advance payment.
