The Liberal Govt Spent All The Money, Left Us Penniless – Romanian PM

"Last year there were EUR4 billion spent in the last quarter. Had this EUR4 billion not been spent by the old government, then we wouldn’t have needed the EUR5-6 billion from the European Commission to cover the budget deficit, and the liberals are commenting to this day. (…) They spent all the money from the Development Fund, from the sale of BCR, they left the country penniless after the sale of important assets," Boc said on national radio.

 

He added that if the former Cabinet had applied the necessary austerity measures, then the current economic situation would not have been so difficult.
