The expulsion order was signed by prefect Vincenzo Grimaldi at the proposal of police commissioner Francesco Cirillo, Sassuolo 2000 informs on its website. However, a peace judge must validate the order within 48 hours.
However, it is not the first time Romanians Vasile Feraru, 27, and Nicoleta Feraru, 18, have been involved in conflicts with the police, as they have so far been detained several times.
The two Romanians violently attacked five police officers on Monday and vandalized the police car. Following the attack, the police officers were taken to hospital with superficial contusions.
