Romania April Indus Orders Rise At 7th Fastest Pace In EU

April is the fourth consecutive month of annual growth in new orders, since in December 2009 the index dropped 12.1%. New orders grew by 29.5% in March.

Among the 22 states present in the report compiled by EU statistics office Eurostat, only Denmark and Ireland registered declines (11% and, respectively, 14.7%). The greatest growth was registered in the Netherlands (45.3%), Latvia (37.5%) and Slovakia (34.1%). The slowest growth paces were registered in Greece (6%) and Spain (6.7%).
