The ruling is final and irrevocable.

Unionist said they will decide next week on future protest actions after the court turned its ruling in their favor.

Employees of state-owned subway company Metrorex went on a full-blown strike for two days in November claiming wage raises of 20% and a new collective work contract, as their old one had expired. The strike was suspended after a court ruled it illegal.

Early February, unionists again threatened to go on strike over this year’s collective work contract and wage raises, this time of just 3.7%.
